Mission
Our mission is to enhance the cybersecurity posture of local nonprofits, small businesses, and public sector organizations by offering comprehensive threat modeling and risk assessment services. This initiative not only helps protect these organizations from cyber threats but also equips our students with real-world experience in cybersecurity.
What We Do
- Defending Critical Community Infrastructure: We help nonprofits, small businesses, utilities, and government agencies to proactively defend themselves against digital threats, enabling them to focus on fulfilling their missions and driving social change. We offer custom advice and client engagements to build the digital capacity of these organizations.

Training Next-Generation Security Leaders: We are building and training the next generation of cybersecurity leaders. Through a hands-on approach, students learn to support organizations in implementing digital safety practices using a holistic and tailored approach.

Growing the Cybersecurity Community: We are leaders in building a technology community in the Carolinas where digital security is part of the bedrock of civil society. We grow our impact by sharing our institutional knowledge and serving as a model and collaborative resource.
Who We Serve
Partner organizations and individuals within approximately 50 miles of UNC Charlotte, including nonprofits, small businesses, and public sector entities that lack the resources to perform their own cybersecurity assessments.
